 Working out some ideas - and just trying some new things in PS for a higher contrast look. Also it was shot while sitting at my desk wearing a dark shirt and the only lighting was a window and a sheet of white paper in my lap for some definition at the bottom of my clasped hands. The Photoshop work included desaturating the image and punching up curves and levels.

The idea behind this is simply the bridge we all cross to self-understanding. We all hold on for dear life until we lose it once again - knowing yourself well enough that it's only as good as the strength of your grasp.

there's a subtlety here... the "handshake" doesn't look quite right... then you realize you're holding your own hand, connecting to the title. I liked that part of it.
