 King Kamehameha was the first to conquer all of the Hawaiian islands and establish the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1810. This statue is one of 4 statues of him and stands in downtown Honolulu. (2 are on the Big Island of Hawaii which is the island he was born on, the 4th is in Washington D.C.)

Ah all right! This was the first thing I thought of when I saw this challenge, but I'm living in NYC now. One of my favorite statues, glad to see it in the challenge!
