This was an attempt at a Macro image gone wrong. I didn't get the focus right and it came out totally out of focus.
And I think I love it more like this, than I would have if it had been in perfect focus.
This image has inspired me to try and take images that are out of focus on purpose. Sometimes the effect is quite striking.
Or at least, I like it :-)

Certainly has a dreamy feel to it, I really like the contrast of the soft pastel colors againt the harshness of the moth's color.

Cool blurs are the ones where it looks like some little piece is trying to reach out of it and be in focus. That's what it looks like the one wing is doing.
