open raw, recovery, bumped clarity, open in edit, adjust contrast, save, Open two more times and do all except contrast. Reduce file, auto sharpen, save for web. Ba bing Ba bang.. (then came back after second guessing my self all week) and lightened shadows by 18% and bumped the midtone contrast... Oh I hope I didn't mess up...

An artist photographing an artist .. I feel like I am part of the adventure .. basket making is an art form I hope we never lose - thank you for chronicling her talent in such a clear shot.

lol I just read through the other comments - seems I'm the only (who commented) that they liked your processing - you ended up with a nice finsh so ya did something right!

Nice pic. I would desaturate it a little bit, specially on her skin

I really like the subject and the composition. The desaturation doesn't quite do it for me, especially as it grays the skin tones.

I think you may have overdone the processing of the lady a bit tbh ... she lost a bit of depth. I like the slight desaturated look and everything else about the image though.

I like the message, but it substantially over-processed.

Love the composition but the effect used doesn't compliment it as well as others could.

Nice photo!
