This deserves better than brown. This is really good and refreshing to see something like this entered into a challenge.

Gorgeous brown. Shades of Les Goodman.

Great title and wonderful photo - I wouldn't ride mine except that the knee doctor says I should - and it's probably a good thing I didn't vote in the challenge because you might have lost your ribbon!!

a scooter is not a chair, a ghost is not a person....and this is quite good...

I didn't get to vote in this challenge but I looked at the pictures during voting and this was my absolute favorite. It was its imagination and the approach to the idea of a portrait with chair that got to me... and the title. Absolutely amazing!

It's not at all irritating for me. It's comforting. The many 'flaws' were intentional. The marginalised composition seemed appropriate. The offhand blur was sadly apt. The disassociation of this person and this chair was a documentary imperative. The titular reference to Talking Heads was merely a pun; a test that nobody took. So I'm satisfied with it. I'd have scored it a five myself, but I'm a very poor judge.

Didn't have time to vote this week and am only now scrolling through. How this ended up in last spot will be something I ponder all day. How irritating for you. Had I voted, you may have got a 4! Damn

Wonderful image. Took a 9 from me. And I gave Leslie's a 10, the one just before yours. Congratulations on your brown :-)

I don't really see a chair aside from the seat on the scooter and it would be a stretch to call this a portrait in my opinion.

Fantastic use of blur here, I like it very much. In my top eight of the challenge.9.

Such a story here. Fabulous motion blur and the grain really adds a feeling of recollection. I feel that the crop is a bit too tight, especially on the left, making if feel a little suffocating, but I just love this.
