Downtown Fort Worth in the distance after a rainstorm broke up in the late afternoon. Photographed from an abandoned building north of downtown near the Stockyards.

I think I did quite well with this, but in the harshly judged DPC-land I expect this is probably good for a "good but not great" finish. No doubt there will be many awesome skies, including lots of brilliant sunrises and sunsets as well. Perhaps the lack of brilliant golden clouds will actually help mine to stand out. Haha, Maybe.

Anticipated critiques:
-Too heavy on the tonemapping
-Not a critique per se, but I expect some comments inquiring about the guard tower. I don't know for certian, but I suspect these were lookout posts for marshalling cattle herds into the slaughterhouse at the Swift meatpacking plant.

Reminds me of an old abandoned prison I visit sometimes, but "mine" has no city skyline in the background.

For this challenge, though, I think the image would be much stronger with almost all the foreground cropped out. Just that bit of city skyline and lots of sky. Might need to get a slightly different angle for the foreground to drop out but then it looks sort of Oz-like to me.
