Taken during my weekly "photography in the bathroom" session early morning before work. I heard somewhere that High School photography classes have homework assignments of shooting only in the bathroom... I think its a great idea.

I love turning on the shower for a bit, and seeing how the fog in the room, and on the lens changes pictures. This was taken in the mirror with light streaming through the window.

Taking this, I was really feeling the mood of the scene more strongly than what the camera was taking. That seems to be the common theme in Nixter's photography: pointing the camera at the mood of a scene instead of the scene itself.

I'll be honest. I checked all the nixter self portraits I could find to see if you're copying him. I see no evidence of that. I think this is a wonderful chaotic figure on the verge of dissolving completely.

This stands out for being radically different from the rest of the images. It is bright yet moody, and uses the steamed mirror to great effect.
