| Interesting idea, but there is too much going on in the background to focus on the bark of the tree |

| This certainly meets the challenge. The slanted angle makes a nice composition and I like the contrast between the green and brown. However, your subject matter is somewhat boring to me. I find that I keep staring at the leaves rather than the bark, because the background is more visually pleasing for me. |
