I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Such a bold composition - I love it. A perfect image for the 'Film Noir' challenge we have never had - the aspect ratio suits the image perfectly. Superb use of negative space and the toning is marvellous too. A real story being told here.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: great image - simple, but so effective. |

| Like the dramatic lighting. Like how she is looking toward the negative space. Great hard blacks and whites. |
