 A sparkle storm was north of town tonight. Almost all of the lightning was above the lower clouds, so this is about the only bolt that I got. Strikes frequency was about 12 bolts per minute at the peak of the storm.

Fantastic capture. Lightning always creates such great shots. But those shots are not easy to get.

I like that you didn't crop this down to focus solely on the lightening & clouds. The full landscape is more natural and informative.

Love your title. This is one of those images you can just fall into, smelling the rain, and listening for the thunder after the lightning strikes. Really nice.
