 Shot for the challenge, on the evening of the last day. Her mane is actually white, well, mostly white. But I'd been shooting into the sun on this spot for years and knew it would show up nicely yellow.

Image is uncropped, I have a bad habit of composing too tightly in camera.

This is my young mare Twix, Lipizzan-Arabian.

I'm so glad to see this in the upper scores, although for my taste it's scored too low! Had to laugh at your cropping note.. I do the same thing.. noticed there are 9 10,s and 5 9's at least 14 people have taste!! LOL I love your work, been snooping thru your pix's totaly awesome!! Katie

This is definitely one of my favourites. Really like the plain bland background with the vibrant yellow hair. Not voting but would be a 9 from me.

Stunning image, with such a noble animal. I love his position and his "smile", and the way the sun glow reflects along his neck and jaw. Just not quite yellow enough.
