The flag is one of the first things I noticed as well. Then, I notice the contrast of the boat life simplicity against the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Did you shift this toward blue so that the flag would show up like that? It makes this into a sort of "busy minimal" shot. I like the sparkles on the water in this too.
