Udderly ridiculous! The housing development in the background is my only real nitpick with this. Guessing this is from someone in my own part of the country. A longhorn, plus houses similar to the ones near myself are the hints. Somewhere near Dallas or Austin, perhaps.

ETA Post-challenge: The other side of town from me, it appears.
