Points for doing this in monochrome. It's a refreshing change -- not just another bug macro with lots of gory detail. Nicely composed too.

Nice! Would it have been possible to make this a complete silhouette so you couldn't see any detail in the leaves or dragonfly?? Cool shot!

wow... strange macro shot... as maybe you know, macro is one of my favourites genre, and this shot puzzles me (i hope that this word is correct)... the choice to convert a macro shot in BW is really risky, you have done a good work in the composition, but not so good on the conversion for me. I find the BW too gray, a more contrastated BW, with more blacks, could be better for me... my vote is for the shot, not for the challenge: 6, mainly to the idea, could be an higher with a more crisp BW...
