While I'm sad that this didn't do well in the Challenge, I am very pleased that you entered it. It is an excellent image involving good seeing and great artistry.
technically this picture looks good...and i like the perspective and the reflection..but in my opinion it's a little boring,and i'm not sure what it has to do with a "summertime" meal... maybe if she was sitting at an outdoor cafe or something...but it's just not doing for me....but like i said...it looks like a nicely taken picture
I really like the feel of this scene and the treatment of the image... I wonder if there is too much of the counter in the foreground of the image, but it does tend to frame the woman well, making her look particularly small behind the counter... good luck with this!
Great urban fragment. Love the large negative space planes surrounding her. Beautifully balanced, and wonderful light gradient on the wall. But this isn't quite a meal, is it?
