 I recently traveled to Mexico to attend a quinceañera party. It was a blowout in every sense of the word, including the weather. The star of the party was dressed in the most elaborate fuchsia and white ballgown I've very seen. She even wore a tiara. And pink sequined Converses. In fact, everything was decorated in fuchsia and white, down to the tortilla holders. While we partied, the weather was out of control, dumping bucketfuls of water on the multicolored awnings. The party raged on as fiercely as the weather.

I was fascinated by the balloons. The stormy lighting seemed to light them from within. When I shot these balloons, I didn't even realize they were covered with droplets until I processed the image. Just like the partiers, they celebrated in spite of being wet.

Great details on the focused balloon. It's an interesting perspective you chose, being both sideways and bottom up.
