 I have this chess set that I forgot I had. I found it in the closet when I was looking for something else and I thought about the Order challenge. I don't think it quite fits that. Plus I was having a hard time getting the angle right.

Yes, if the tilt went away this would be even better.
Also, a nice crop could be made to include just the in-focus pieces.

Certainly an attractive object, with good use of DOF! With regards to the angle, I think it needs more or less tilt as it's very nearly level so seems stuck between the two options.

Nice image. Those are very attractive pieces. My father was an avid, and very good, chess player, so photos of chess pieces provoke an emotional reaction in me.
Btw, surely there nothing much more orderly than a chess game set up and ready to start?
