The Purple Prose Award I have received many post challenge PMs from folks that appreciate that I narrate my photos in the Photo Details. What they tell me is that the narrative enriches the photo and gives insight into the way I think about a photo. Or sometimes how I made a photo or processed it.
So this merit badge is awarded to the photos that have great narrative in the photographer's notes, the "Details" associated with a photo. In my humble opinion, of course.
