 Finally got the right combination of time, equipment, weather and location to get this thing done.

Note that a graduated ND filter was used.

Got this pic at the Gao Mei Wetland Shallows. It was funny because when I got there, all the other photographers were just leaving and had left disappointed. It wasn't much of a sunset due to that low lying fog bank. I took some pics and it wasn't until I started processing it that I got to see what it looked like. I've been disappointed with HDR so far, but this one seemed to just work. I especially enjoyed the greens in the sky.

Lots O fun!

Processing was done via 2 copies of the same frame with different exposure values, then using HDR Pro to bring it up starting from a 'more saturated' setting.

Took it to TIFF and applied a bit of noise reduction via ACR and applied as layer, with a bit masked out in the grass and sky.

Mucked about with some border options and got it ready for DPC. Mild sharpening last.

This is incredible. Are those people that appear to be moving toward us? Very ominous. The martian-like foreground textures add to the intrigue.

For me, this scene was really cool, until I saw the ghosted people. At that point, I lost a lot of interest in it.
