First time to a location called Big Lake. The clouds did not cooperate for the mountain to be out and to have a glorious sunset (which it would have been).

Manual blend of two exposures.

How did you get the stars to show up without streaking?

Great shot. Fantastic clarity from the stars to the tree in the water. Having the tree really gives the viewer a sense for how big the scene is.

this is cool - the tree, breaking the almost overwhelming grayness of the water in the foreground. is such a necessary component to break the surface and create life and tension

Breathtaking clarity and detail. A masterpiece of low light and luminosity.
