I like the composition and intensity of the subjects eyes - the light on the right side of the frame just seems a bit harsh to me, otherwise very nice image.

What are the weird reflections in his eyes? The picture would be much better without them.

Fantastic clarity and composition!!
The reflection in the eyes are great. If this was cropped on the subjects right eye with the book in the forground it would have been a 10. This is still a 9 and my second favourite with only a few left to judge - well done!
