 "Hey monkey, it's only a one-banana job at the most, what's taking you so long?". Search the web if you're not familiar with this folklore :-)

Taken in the living room using a pile of my books (not that I am a monkey, still I have some bricks), banana, Ikea standing lamp to lit the face, and my favorite and on only model of course :) The room window is behind my back.
I have quite a bit of internal resistance to cropping images but I could not get close enough to get the banana sharp and the composition I wanted. I am starting to think that cropping is not that bad after all - yes, it can be cheating to fix the composition and it would be much nicer to somehow be able to change the image size and ratios in the camera's viewfinder. Anyway :)

I always read the manual before operating a loaded banana. Don't want any accidents. RTFM, for sure!

Just one of those things that make you go "huh?" - which makes me like it. The only thing I might change is to have her hand a little less dark.
