Aim:
To capture a frisbee catch at the apex of the jump.
Have the tree in the background and frame the shot around it.
Enhance highlights in the tree to evoke an exploding effect on the catch.

Hindsight:
I wanted to have two jumping for the frisbee, but wasn't happy with those shots.
I wish there was only one person in the shot

Tilt:
The tilt was chosen for two reasons. Legs pointing to the bottom corner, and in the imagination of the frisbee being a UFO I imagine it flying off to the right.

Feedback, per your request in the forums:
I gave this a 4, I'm afraid. I didn't feel the tilt added anything to the scene. Perhaps it was because the tree took up so much of the frame that the real subject was swallowed. I think if the view had been closer to the subject, it may have had more impact and the tilt would have lent a more dramatic feel to it. If I was shooting this scene, I think I would have tried to get on the ground, close to the guy catching the Frisbee, and used the wider end of my lens for a more dramatic perspective. I like those really strong perspectives, however.

Great fun! Not sure the background guy helps the composition?

If I can be honest,

Pros:
- the composition is good
- the tilt adds value to the picture (I see the subject's right hand and his posture is now aligned with a diagonal)

Cons:
- the background is too busy. That I think is hurting the image. The trees, the other person, take your attention away from the main subject.

Hope that helps...good luck!
