An accident, honestly! Used a water pitcher full of water, tossed in a handful of the little fingerlight LEDs, stirred up the water with a wooden spoon. Eh wala, what looks like a jaunty little painting-with-light guy with an oversized *ahem*...! :-) Ryan and I were glad to learn that those lights are indeed pretty close to waterproof (the on/off switch was easy to flick, though).
They may not last much longer after this session, probably a good three hours of constant immersion and stirring.

Very colorful light painting. Unfortunately, the scene doesn't have really anything beyond that. To me, the best light painting photos happen when the light extends the overall scene. |
