If only the shadow wasn't there, this is why landscapes are such a pain to shoot. The good light is early morning or late afternoon but then the shadows can get it the way. The sun is a miserable gaffer.

A most unusual view of this most famous landmark.. I have to give this a 9 because it is quite nice, I wish the clouds were white, but wtf, great image...

Wooow and could be better. The grey hills look dull. Need some contrast maybe?

This is horribly mangled :-( I'm sorry but I have to say that... This is one of the great views of the world, and it's just been *destroyed* by overprocessing. It's flat, totally lacks the natural depth the shadows should give it. The clouds are like they've been painted in with a large, featureless brush, and the WATERFALL! The waterfall's been made to glow with this eerie brightness... It's the ONLY thing in the image with NO color, and it's brighter by a full stop than anything else. There's no way the waterfall, in shadow, could be brighter than the clouds, in full sunlight.

I'm sorry to be so harsh, but I spent a lot of time in Yosemite, I used to teach there, and this hits me at a visceral level :-(

well it is a classic view I don't think it works as a HDR as you end up seeing too much and you don't have the dramatics light.
