 A thousand year egg with a normal egg

This is the first photo summited for DPC.
New to world of photography. Just get my very first camera last month, and is very excited with the stunning photos in this site, and hope to have a try.

Egg have many form. The contrast between black and white egg would also give stronger contrast.

The set up is simple. I half boiled an egg, slicing half it and a thousand year egg, putting them on a dish and put the dish of egg on my desk. I was very difficult to get perfect egg, I boiled 4 eggs for this photo. I was thinking of using dish with simple color, but seems the contrast from a colorful dish would make the picture better.

The lighting I use was the home fluorescence with the build-in flash of D5000. Been struggling with the WB a lot.

Post processing was only crop and resize for uploading.
