I can hardly make out the shaver. Would benefit from a bit better lighting.

Cool lighting! I'll check back after the challenge to see how you did this. I think it's a bit dark because I can hardly make out the shaver but then again if it would be brighter then the shaving foam wouldn't look so nice. -stephan

Too dark. Can't tell which direction the handle is going, or where the head is. The bright spot to the right of the cream is distracting as is the light spot past it to the right. Maybe the handle is the dark thing at the top of the photo behind the cream? If not it is distracting, if is it is not light enough to recognize as such. The cream by itself would have been a beautiful shot. I like it and it is the only thing that is really clear and able to recognize in the photo. Sorry. PTL 4

The lighting could be better on the razor

I will not say What this picture is lacking. I am sure many people have commented on it already.

Love the lighting on the foam. The razor merges into the background too much. It would be better if there was a little light along the top edge of the razor to outline it. As it is, without the title, I would have a very hard time figuring out it's a razor.

I really like the color and lighting

I like the lighting... but give me more blue

the shaving gel (cream?) is rather interesting, but the razor is too dark against the black background, and is a little hard to pick out. other than that, the composition is well thought out, and the colors work well. the choice of a reflective surface was a good one.

I think you had a good idea, but I think it's just too dark for any impact. The idea is oringinal, the color is good, but it's lost in the blackness. No, sweat I see what you were doing and appreciate your work. Justine

Good idea. Razor is too dark, gel too light. A bit more work, and this one will be good.

Definitely had potential, but the blue does not seem prominent enough. And if the object had not been in the title, it would be difficult to see what it was.

wish the razor were more defined.

Good idea. I like the mirror effect with the light from below.

I would have changed the angle of the razor slightly, so you can see mre of the blade in the reflection.

Too dark.

Grat idea and light!
I use the same shaver!

Good idea, though the razor is a little hard to see, different lighting would have improved the picture a great deal.
