This was a super cool shot to shoot! I took it 1 hour before rollover and had about 45 minutes to upload to my computer, edit, export and upload to DPC!

Iceland is amazing! But I'm from Alaska. I was actually inspired by this shot by steinar from Iceland though :)

Setup:
I put my camera on the tripod and set the timer to 10sec, I then had to run, jump onto the rock you see on the left side, jump onto the other rock and then watch the flashes on the cam until the timer went off and guesstimate when to actually jump into the air… then jump back to the beach check the image and do it all over again :)
I took at least 10 shots on (above;) this rock and this was the last one.
I had a fairly good sweat going by the end :D

A lot of comments about the sky…
I din't use burn. This is the result of Definition and I'm guessing ISO of 320 which I had to do to keep the shutter speed high enough so I would be sharp and not blurred.
The affect is not there without Definition but the image is so much less dynamic.
I did do a reedit later with selective removal of Definition. (didn't think of it in time for my entry)

The burning tool is used a little too abusively for my taste. I like the subject and composition though.

Great concept, location, caption & contrast. What ever is happening with the clouds at the top of the shot is not working for me (if it was done pp). This gets an 8 from me - well done!
