 This show went through many permutations before I finally settled on this one. It's imperfect (par rapport à my vision for it) but I learned a lot doing it.

My personal gripes with the picture: I should have composed the shot more carefully. I should have included more of my left hand, or left it out entirely.

I have anticipated that there will be a certain tension in the viewer, who will be unsure whether to focus on my face or my hand. I think I'm all right with that. After all, where is the music made? In the hand, the head or the heart? I apologize if this sounds like insufferable bullshit in the full light of day. At midnight, it sounds right.

I really like this shot but I find the hand distracting. The reflection, alone, is really interesting.
