 Well, I thought it wouldn't do well and it didn't. Deliberately missing the focus of a shot is more difficult than I ever imagined.
I thought it would be neat to have the woman's face in the sand .. the ball bouncing away (missed) and only the boat in focus - but, next time I will photograph something prettier and more DP friendly.
Thanks to all who voted and to three of the commentators for getting what I was trying to do.
I appreciate the comments.

I get what your trying to accomplish but your composition is a bit off....the girl in the sand is very distracting to overall picture; and of course the bold line going right over the face of the girl standing isn't helpful either.
