Tried to photo gulls OOF but found they just look OOF by accident. I then slowed the shutter and got some interesting motion blur but didn't feel it quite met the challenge. Finally I decided to photo some birds flying over the water focusing on the bird leaving the reflection as the missed focus. I'm happy with the result but I feel there will be many great artistic shots this challenge and this won't compare too well. But hey, it was fun to try and get a missed focus shot on purpose!

Cropped (heavier than I'm used to)
Adjusted curves & saturation (was planing a B&W shot when taking this but felt the contrasts from the blue worked better)

You know Scott that is a great idea. I wish I had thought of that during the challenge.

The wavy reflection does obscure the image a bit, but the focus on that reflection appears pretty sharp. I do like it, however.
