Thanks to my Smurfy model. That is my arm in the photo, so getting just the right shot was that much more difficult. This idea came from an idea I had a few years ago concerning paint and bodies, each color representing a person and the colors combined, their contact. I used Elmer's Sesame Street finger paint.

Novel. Too bad the mix wasn't more purple.

I don't think I could have thought of a better way to make purple myself. Great take on the challenge.

No purple in the picture, Sorry, had to say that. Suggests purple! It fits! One of the better shots I've seen that suggests purple. Amazing topic, kinda spooky to me. It looks like the hand is on a women (body curve) but how would the texture be ripping off? Well done. I like that there are red scars on the blue thing, and blue marks on the red hand. The reflections of the flash are a bit annoying. Is the texture paint? Well thought out, good execution, should place highly.

very strange and kinda gross looking. haha. If the mix of blue and red creating purple was a little more prominent, i think this woudl be better.

this image could have worked well if there was more of a mixing of the colors to create purple, thus the mixing of bodies, sex, love, etc...

tough to vote on this one ... the shot is awesome ... but there's not even the essence of purple or implied purple or anything purple ... very cool though

This is the one of two red and blue picture in the bunch that actually SUGGESTS purple to me. Great job. 10.

To me, this is an extremely powerful photograph. I love how you thought outside of the box & chose to truly demonstrate the color purple. simply amazing.

Top 10. I love it - wouldn't change a thing except take a little of the black off.

OMG... this is a fantastic photo. I love the colors. The thickness of the paint is just right. Absolutely love it. A 10 in my eyes.

hmm, red and blue do make purple, so the suggestion is there. I like the "wet" feel of it all. My personal taste is entering in here, I find the crop not as dynamic as it could be, (and this is just my opinion). I moved the window over to do an alternate "crop" and find that if more of the arm was not there the had would really stand out and the cuve of the body would become more of an element in the image. I have a feeling you may not be doing well in this challenge. Since you have really captured the literal sense of "suggestion".. 8

Is it purple? Well... not yet. But it will be when he is finished rubbing her back. I can accept this and give it the 9 it deserves as a creative idea well executed.

I absolutely love this photo. Not a flower, not something colored purple in Ps. Finally something with artistic merit!!!! Thank you Thank You. My only critisim is that even though I know the blue is a body I would have liked a view that made it more obvious Perhaps just showing the belly button would have made it more sensual. dc

ha, it took a second before i figured this oone out. Mixing colours...purple. This was creative thinking. I like it. As a composition i think i woudl have liked to see even more of teh body. To have here waste more defined and her hips.

This looks like turquoise and vermillion to me. I'm not seeing much purple. It's kind of unpleasant to look at.

Lol... just goes to show how different our sensibilities can be - that title is the last thing on earth I'd have said in relation to this picture. :) - 6
