 Ostrich (Struthio camelus) at 6-9 feet tall. What you see here is the top 1/3rd of the bird but my title is a play on the Rule of Thirds as well.

Spot metered to get some definition on the RHS (Bird's LHS) which left a slight high contrast (almost backlit) strip on it's sun-ward side. Hope voters actually make that distinction and note that it is a Basic Editing Challenge.

Export NEF to JPG. Adj Layers, Levels, Curves, USM, Crop, USM, Borders, USM, Save As JPG
