you have such great focus, texture and sharpening...but for me the fact that this is so dead center it takes away from its appeal as a picture...sorry

Compoistion good, grey tones a little too grey, would have been more interesting to capture more contrast to emphasize the texture in the door knob and wood grain in the background.

great photo, shows awesome detail, meets the challenge title very very well, literally only little thing I can nitpick at is maybe, the direct reflection in the knob itself is a tinsy bit too bright. An 8 I think :)
