for me it's the lighting on this that brings it down...its soooooo very, very harsh

Lovely use of shadows, creates an intersting shot. although the shadow in the top left hand corner is distracting (because its a soft shadow and doesnt tie up with the other hard shadows)but well done.

Nice textures. I think shooting near dawn or dusk, to get the golden side light, would really have set this off.

wow,,wow,,, good idea,,, but from another ankle this would be great one,, use the shadow from another ankle,,,,, but i like this one,,,,,,

There is something ungainly about the composition. I think taking off a bit off the bottom (even if you have to sacrifice the shadow), would have made a stronger image.
