This was actually a reinactment of a reunion I experienced in my life. The most wonderful blessing in the world. I'll be happy to explain if anyone really wants to know.

needs to be cropped and/or setup just a little differerntly, but overall, a good shot. i know everyone has probably commented on how they hate the focus, etc, but i think it creates a really interesting texture. i'm not sure if your camera or what, but i'll come back when this week is over and see what you used, because i might like to create a similar effect.

this photo has feeling, even if it is not great technically, it will get a high score from me because it does convey emotion. Is that a filter effect?

Woulda preferred to see this as a tightly cropped portrait format shot. Nice one anyway...

you got just the right section of time, fraction of a second either way and it'd be a different picture.

Great human interest story. Title makes you wonder - friends or family?; how long have they been separated? how'd they find each other? Hope the article answers these questions. Photo - needs focus, but will give you latitude because of catching the right moment. Good execution of final finishes. PTL7

Very well captured moment. Sad that the quality is so low, or is it intendet?
11/28/2002 11:19:00 AM
excellent. would have more impact if the shot wasnt so low in contrast.
11/28/2002 03:29:00 AM
would of benefitted from closer cropping 6 marksimms

photo a little grainy, nice subject and composition, though

Good moment. A flash fill and sharper focus would help. JEM

poor image quality

Seems a bit on the grainy side, and could use a bit more contrast to liven it up a bit.

Great capture of an obviously special moment, but it is kinda muted. Maybe adjusting the contrast so that it is not all varying shades of gray would help give it more "pop" karmat

Quality of the photo is not good but quality of the emotion shown and the composition is excellent--well done andrewm

Pretty neat shot and good title. I wonder what would happen if you cropped it a bit closer? DPz

This looks like a pretty good shot, I just wish it was a little sharper though the blurred hand shows action which makes the picture more interesting. Maybe if this one was in color with some warm tones it would be better???
