Everything was in place for my daughter’s wedding in the afternoon. I had a lot of pent up energy and was looking for something to do. Someone said they saw a butterfly from the balcony of the room we were staying in. Since we hired photographers for the wedding, this is one of the few pictures I took that day.
Processing: I brought in three copies of the picture from the raw image. One was lighter to help in getting rid of a shadow on the butterfly and one was with a different hue and color balance to make the greens in the branch stand out a bit. The picture was sharpened, selections of the three versions were combined and the hue, saturation and brightness was adjusted on each.
