 This one's from trying to get a good shot for the Zen Challenge a few weeks ago. My friend Chanda (user diablo_2097 here at DPC) and I camped out at a pier near Williamstown in Melbourne.

Near the end of the shoot a flock of seagulls started landing on the nearby boats and this was a completely random capture that happened when the camera was on a right settings while I was playing around with a Sigma 70-200mm.

I love the flatness of this. Vignette is a bit too harsh, though.

Your entry seems a bit small in size - but I like the sepia tone. Very nice in-flight/landing shot!
