Challenge: Sports IV (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D90
Lens: Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6G
Location: Georgia
Date: Apr 30, 2010
Aperture: f10
ISO: 250
Shutter: 1/125
Date Uploaded: May 4, 2010

Taken at Road Atlanta at the historic Mitty race. Used HSL. Saturation -75, Hue -29, Lightness 0. Crop. Resize to fit challenge. The original really pops with color unlike film from the 70's. I tried to simulate a 70's spectator film image. Since this is a "dude" image I dont expect it to score very high.

I like that the two foreground cars are frozen. Especially like the desaturated, aged photo sort of feel to this.

I think you left too much on the table by not post processing the desaturated colors.-2 Great to see the GT 40 and the Vette going at it!

I do not know if this is the raw color scheme of this image, but I really do love it this way. There are leading lines, although not prominent. There is blur, but that is expected. Good job! 8/10.

nice! but looks really flat. i know this is basic editing, but i think if you'd played with it a bit more, you really could have gotten it to pop.
