I get what you are trying to do here with shape, symmetry, and abstraction. But it didn't quire hit the home run for me. You will however get points for creativity and thinking out of the box. Minus one for lack of any 'action', which goes against what the theme suggested (Capture the action of any sport.). 6/10.
I like this idea - it is pretty cute. For me this challenge was about capturing an action shot without controlling the light so this image didn't meet that aspect for me but it is still cute.
