 The blue cat people must have been blue cats at some point, right?

Anyway the poster is made from a single exposure of my bengal cat Nikita, who glared suitably for me. Then a fair bit of pp to colour her blue, increase various contrasts, get the eye properly orange/yellow and add in the sparkly dots.

I got the Avatar logo font by using papyrus (which is a horribly overused font and it's sort of a travesty that James Cameron chose what's essentially a tweaked version of that very common font for the logo of his multimillion dollar movie. Anyway after putting on the blue glow and a gradient overlay on the font layer I rasterized it and erased and drew in bits by hand to mostly replicate the differences between the Avatar font and Papyrus, it's not an exact match but close enough.

The Missing Link font is Trajan, another overused movie poster font, I thought that was quite fitting
