Penny it was shot with a D300 and 55mm nikon macro at f5.6 1/100 and 200 iso |

nice DOF
but i do agree with Kai it would have been more dramatic with the blue in focus as well
the bokeh is perfect and the mix of colors really great |

Love the composition of this, the red behind the flower works really well. I might have tried to keep all of the actual flower (ie blue) in focus, but doing that and blurring out the rest is not something I find easy........It is the colours though that make this image, the vivid blue, yellow and red work really well |
