eta: You know what? I'll take that comment back. I'm almost certain now it's my monitor over-sharpening everything. Apologies if I've left you scratching your head over my initial observation.
The repetition is so very interesting and the disappearing perspective is pretty cool too. It has good shadow but the highlights are very blown out. I don't suppose it matters much due to the fact that all you need to see is in the central part of the photo. How can this be improved? If there were a way to get that disappearing perspective arranged diagonally ocross the field of view, it would be stronger still compositionally... but I wouldn't know how to do that.
Cool perspective, pleasing tones. I would be interested in seeing this in color. I wonder if it would be a more dynamic picture overall. Granted it would get you a really low score considering the challenge - but just saying for outside the challenge description. No vote - just commenting.
