What is it?
For AP Literature we had to do a final project based off Jewel's "Hands." It was to somehow do a creative representation of a hand/hands and include elements that represent us. Then we were to write a paragraph on a topic for each finger and part of the hand. Each finger and part dealt with a part of our lives or our personality.

I chose to take a picture of my hand in front of a computer screen. Then I edited the color a bit (it already had a blue cast to it, I just further enhanced it with Hue & Saturation). From there it was cropped and the artistic border was added to make it flow into the paper better when it was printed. (And if I may say so, it looks incredible in print.)

What each part represents:
1) Photograph - I love photography, it has gotten to the point that I think as if I'm looking through a camera lens almost 24/7.
2) Blue - My favorite color, you could almost say I'm obsessed with it.
3) Hand - Me. You can only see the edges of who I am through just looking (the blue tint on the edge), but the rest remains dark without personal connection.
4) HTML - My first, and really only, way of creating webpages. It shows how I self-teach myself when I am determined.
5) Yearbook - What I threw my passions into these past three years. It paid off in the end for us all.
6) Border - My ongoing learning of photo-editing. It could also represent how I like to blend into my surroundings, but at the same time stand out within my own group.
