One of our neighbor's kitten's. All four were crawling over my boyfriend and my's laps while I was trying to take pictures of them. So adorable! This is the picture that convinced me to sign up as a member.

great shot, ruined a little by the over exposed cloth in the foreground.

Detail on the cat is brilliant, as is the expression and framing :-) 7

One of the better "cat shots" I've seen. Looks like an inquisitive little guy (girl?).

This is a pretty well done shot technically, but I might have blurred the road a bit more, or tried to get rid of it all together. Based on some threads I have seen, you might be able to rubber stamp it out within the rules of an advanced challenge. On the interest scale, a picture of a cat is always going to have a difficult time against some of the other entries.

Lovely cat picture, there's really nothing that I'd do differently. I like the splash of color in the front from he blanket and how we can clearly see all the fuzzy hairs of the cat. Actually, one thing that would be nice, too (and it depends much on your cat) is if you captured a shot with him/her looking at you, too. This one works in b&w, too, I think.

Very nice lighting on kitten. Nice pose and expression as well. From my point of view, the picture lacks an adequate setting and overall composition to be outstanding. A 7..

great cat picture. Some fill in flash to lighten up the face/eyes would have made it even better.

I don't get the title because of my bad english. But I get the picture.
As most DCP voters I vote lower on "my pet" pictures until I see something realy good.
This is one of them. Realy good, and realy sweet.

A bit blown out in spots, unfortunately. Great expression on the cat.

Wow, nice and soft. Makes me wanna cuddle the cute kitten. Just wish I didn't have this darn allergy. Amazing.
