 Taken at the Japanese Garden in Seattle, WA in the Washington Park Arboretum.

Single shot HDR from NEF file as tripods are forbidden except on Tuesdays before opening to the public.

Used Photomatix Pro 3.2 64bit to bring out detail.

Photoshop CS3 Extended.
* Topaz Remask 2 to select the water. Massive time sink if trying otherwise.
* Photo Filter - Cooling Filter to change the water from brown to blue. (It still looks fake to me.)
* Hue and Saturation to bring out the non-green colors.
* Saved to TIF.
* Resized to 800 x 554.
* Changed image mode from 16 bit to 8 bit.
* Saved as JPG at level 9 to come in under the 300k limit.

No to be too picky here, but they are not bonsai, which literally means "tree in a pot." And they are really too large.

That said, I like the shot anyway. What garden is it?

Very cool. I wonder if you should have cropped it ever so slightly so as to not have the bridge so prominent on the left side.
