At 5:15am I decided to take the 45 minute drive/hike to this scenic lookout on the Island of Oahu's eastern most point. I was hoping for a clearer sky so I could get that orange glow from the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was windy, overcast, and had a light drizzle. Along with this, and my remote receiver being a bit too far from the trigger, it made things really difficult to get the shot. Press the trigger a few times, quickly run back to the camera because I was worried about the wind blowing my tripod over, check to see if any frames were captured, walk back to the rocky platform and start all over. Thankfully, there were some frames snapped and this is one of the better ones.
I like how it turned out, I hope it does well.
