 I have recently become fascinated by the patterns from the tree outside, seen through the kitchen skylight in different weather and light conditions. I thought about shooting the balloon silhouetted against the skylight, but decided that the skylight's reflection on the balloon would be a much more interesting, semi-abstract, shot. I particularly like the distortion introduced by the curvature of the balloon, and the gradation in luminosity.

When I saw the title of this picture it made me think of the movie. So I googled event horizon :) Nice color and I like the smooth gradient. Thanks for making me think!
