 Took ages to set this one up and get the best lighting switching between torches and normal globe lighting.
Fairly basic processing..

In answer to the queries, the Hot Air Balloon idea stuck in my head after I originally wanted to photograph real hot air ballon flights that were cancelled due to the weather. I improvised my own idea using a gas torch, battery torch for lighting and several containers to align everything in place.

Long time overdue in commenting; (Hello Neighbor...your entry is right above mine). The idea and execution in this composition is minimalistic and very well done. Color choice was great. The red really pops (sorry for using that term as we are talking balloons here:-) ) off the black backdrop. Love how you also composed the balloon to come out at the diagonal for it adds visual interest. And wonderful idea to have the flame jet coming out such that it makes you think of the big hot air balloons; the small, simple object can project the idea of the larger, complex object. Great job!
