The big knob is a ratcheting spring. At full wind it will fire off 6 or 7 shots in rapid succession. Pretty handy. The meter eye is to the left of the lens, and used what they called "waterhouse" stops...not really a leaf type aperture, but progressively larger holes in a pivoting plate. |

I had an instamatic as a kid. Mine was much plainer than this one. That a huge winder knob on top! It must be designed for my friend Grog. |
